Yeh Hai Chahatein 6th October 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Mohit admitted he drank too much and wasn’t thinking clearly. Kaashvi shows the marks on Mahima to him. She tells Arjun he did a very bad thing. She believes Arjun hurt Mahima badly, and he should face the consequences. Shobhana says Mohit acted wrongly because he was under the influence of alcohol.
Arjun said he saw the proper side of Mohit. She wonders why Arjun is making a big deal. She thinks that Mohit and Mahima getting close before their wedding isn’t a big deal. But Kaashvi explains that Mohit hurt Mahima against her will. She decides to stop Mahima’s wedding to Mohit.
She calls off the wedding. Shobhana questions her decision, asking who will marry Mahima. She points out that Mahima left a wedding once, so if she doesn’t marry Mohit, no one else will, and people will blame her. Kaashvi is firm that the marriage won’t happen. She asks Shobhana to leave.
Arjun comforts Mahima, saying she should ignore others. He reminds her of their love and that they should move on. Mahima is upset. Kaashvi supports her. Arjun tells Mohit to stay away from Mahima. When Mohit threatens Arjun, Arjun makes him leave. Mohit tries to talk to Mahima, but Arjun stops him.
Later, Mahima says sorry to Kaashvi and Arjun. She feels guilty about how things went. Kaashvi reassures her. They hear a noise from Mahima’s room and find her scared. She thinks Mohit is there, but he isn’t. They call for help. When a doctor arrives, Mahima is scared of him too. Kaashvi soothes her. The doctor suggests therapy for Mahima and says she trusts Kaashvi and Arjun, so they should stay close.
Kaashvi asks Arjun to be with Mahima when she’s at work. They find out Mohit ran away. Mahima wants Arjun to be with her and asks him to fight Mohit. She will sleep if Arjun is beside her. Arjun gets upset with her. Romila suggests Arjun sleep in Mahima’s room to keep her safe. Kaashvi agrees with Romila.

This episode makes you feel many different things and touches on sensitive topics like consent and lousy behaviour caused by alcohol. The story shows how complicated relationships, trust, and society’s expectations around marriage can be.
The way the characters interact is interesting. Kaashvi’s strong-willed response to Mohit’s behaviour shows how strong-willed she is, while Mahima’s weakness and trauma become apparent as the episode continues. Arjun’s protective nature makes it clear that he cares about Mahima. But the plot does hint at deeper problems between Arjun and Mahima, which will be shown in later episodes.
On the other hand, Mohit’s actions make him the main bad guy, especially since the ending leaves us on the edge of our seats, eager to see what happens.
The episode does an excellent job of showing the tension and emotional turmoil, but it might need some background information for people who don’t know the story. Also, the fact that trauma and therapy are discussed shows how important it is to be sensitive, and we hope that the creators will be careful with these topics in future episodes.
In short, it was an exciting episode full of intense drama and emotion, leaving us wanting more.
