Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22nd October 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Swarna looks at Akshara’s papers and decides to help her. Manish makes sure Akshara eats her food. Kairav takes Akshara to court. Muskaan brings henna cones for a festival called Karwa Chauth. The Goenkas are happy. Surekha is looking for Abhimanyu. Muskaan tells Akshara to stop waiting for him. Abhimanyu agrees and gets support from the Goenkas.
Akshara feels this isn’t fair. Arohi thinks Abhimanyu has told Akshara something important. They talk privately. Arohi tells Abhimanyu to be honest with Akshara. Abhimanyu doesn’t want to make past mistakes. He’s sad about not having work or a home. He keeps a secret. Akshara asks them about it, but they change the topic.
Mahima asks Shefali about her plans for the festival. Shefali has food for Akshara. Manjari doesn’t let Shefali visit the Goenka home. There’s some disagreement about Abhimanyu being sent away from a hospital.
Abhimanyu gets ready for a job interview. He tells Akshara he’s working late. The Goenkas get ready for Karwa Chauth. He feels bad he can’t provide for her. Shefali brings food for Akshara. Abhimanyu is sad that Manjari didn’t visit.
Manjari is worried about Akshara. She hopes Abhimanyu will move on. When he comes back, Akshara is curious if he’s fasting. They both pretend about their plans.
Abhimanyu searches for work. Akshara finds out he doesn’t have a job. She feels bad thinking he’s losing everything because of her.
Abhimanyu asks for special leave before taking a job. Akshara hears this and feels even worse. She hides so he doesn’t see her, but he senses she’s there. The episode ends here.
